The new autumn schedule for PBS television and radio stations, which kicks off tomorrow, includes a mixture of established and innovative programmes forming part of TVM's schedule.

Eileen Montesin's Dejjem tieghek Becky, which continues where UC5 had left, is airing on Sunday nights, while Delitti f'Malta, a new series penned and directed by Salvu Mallia, based on the murders which took place in Malta between 1825 and 1944, will show on Monday nights. Thursday nights will host Vlegga u salib, a light entertainment programme presented by Mariella Scerri.

Popular favourites Xarabank and Bondì+ will once again take Friday's and Tuesday's prime time slots respectively and Tistà tkun int will again be screened on Sunday mornings.

The Saturday afternoon slot is being allotted to Ray Calleja and Marbeck Spiteri, who present Is-Sibt.

Daily programmes include the new morning magazine programme Aroma while Mill-box will occupy the evening slot before the 8 p.m. news.

Krejon is a new programme for children, while D Generation is aimed directly at youths.

Other innovative programmes are Tezori, featuring exclusive archive footage of various events and happenings in Malta from the PBS Archives Deparment;'Il boghod mid-dar, a documentary-style programme on the wonders of South Africa and Il-Qoxra.

A new series of the current affairs genre is L-Ewropej, which takes a look at what is happening in the European Union.

Sports programmes include Basket Time, Olympic Magazine, Grandstand and SportsilHadd. For the season 2003/04, PBS is also airing 25 live UEFA Champions League matches.

Channel 12 will be offering a variety of programmes. These include Mill-bierah ghal-lum; Beltna Valletta; Ilek xejn ma tikteb? and Ilkoll indaqs.

Radio Malta is featuring a new comedy show called Ftira biz-zejt plijs while cultural radio station FM Bronja hosts various classical musical programmes.
