Suez medal

I refer to the article in The Times regarding the Suez Canal medal (September 18).

I am one of several Maltese servicemen who were there at the time. I have already applied for the medal and received an answer.

I would like to point out that relatives of other Maltese servicemen who have since died may apply for this medal.

We were all serving with the Admiral Staff of HMS Osiris, Fayid between 1952 and 1955.
