The family is the main target of Super One Radio and Television's autumn schedule, which starts next month.

Sunday features the all-new weekly Maratona, six hours of complete family entertainment, which includes a song festival.

Bravi, a programme within Maratona, features new talent that is being provided with the opportunity of further professional training.

The station has come up with a bonanza of Maltese drama and comedy. Brand new is the Thursday Drama, a string of mini-series featuring different tales of passion, love, intrigue, adventure and deceit. Gideb u Mhabba is the first mini-series in the slot.

The intriguing tale of Fr H. Born's Is-Salib tal-Fidda on Sunday nights continues as new episodes unfold this autumn.

Every Monday, the master criminal investigator, L-ispettur Lowell has more cases to unravel. By popular demand, there is another chance to follow the TV classic Madonna tac-Coqqa on Friday nights.

Alfred Zammit returns with his top daily show Kalamita and changes the routine for his popular Saturday afternoon quiz format.

Live footage of medical operations are the highlight of the new series, Medik, which airs on Tuesday nights. A brand new programme from Australia, Djarju Malti mill-Awstralja, produced and presented by Melbourne-based Charles Belli, will be screened on Mondays.

On Friday nights Narcy Calamatta makes his comeback with an inimitable stand-up comedy.

The new tongue-in-cheek satire and comedy weekly show, Kaktus, will air on Tuesday nights.

Super One Radio drama has new plays, specially written for radio, which include Il-Bahar Rasu Iebsa, a drama written by Lino Psaila, every Thursday at 8.15 p.m.

The new children's Quiz ghat-Tfal ta' l-iskejjel will be broadcast each Saturday just after midday, presented by Andrew Zahra and Alison Zerafa.
