Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici yesterday sued the editor of Malta Today for libel.

Dr Mifsud Bonnici filed a writ of summons in the Magistrates' Court against Saviour Balzan over claims made in an article published on Malta Today's September 7 issue.

Dr Mifsud Bonnici claimed that comments made in the article were defamatory and demanded damages.
