The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) will be launching another edition of its "Malta, Int u t-Turist" training programmes, starting from October 14. Another two programmes are scheduled to run in January in Gozo.

The programmes, which are conducted by Malta University Services on behalf of the MTA, are primarily addressed to all those who come in contact with tourists, including employees working in tourism-related establishments and support services.

Their aim is to enable such people to be better informed about the various aspects of the tourism product in the Maltese islands, including the economic, social, cultural, geographical and environmental aspects. The programme also includes training in customer relations.
