On a positive note

I would like to show my appreciation to the General Soft Drinks customer service staff and the sales and marketing director, Martin Agius, for their excellent customer service, which deserves to be commended.

Way back in June, I had won an Elton John Coca-Cola concert ticket but somehow this ticket, which was sent by registered post, never made it to my home address due to an address mix-up.

After the concert, noting that I still had not received this ticket, I naturally inquired with General Soft Drinks customer service staff as to why I never heard from them. They assured me that they had in fact sent the ticket and they substantiated this by showing me all the relevant documentation..

Leaving no stone unturned to remedy the situation, Mr Agius made me an alternative offer. He offered a voucher for various Coca-Cola products which I was only too pleased to accept. (Joseph Azzopardi)

It is always sad when such things happen and, evidently, in this case, the bad situation arose out of a situation that was absolutely out of Coca-Cola's control. However Mr Agius saw to it that his customer was still a winner, although the original prize never reached the winner for reasons as explained above.

The positive aspect of this situation is that the customer was so positively impressed that, as can be seen, he felt the need to share his "positive" turned "negative" turned "positive" situation with our readers.

Yet again, "Where would we be without our Positive Notes?"
