Malta's national day

Let us all make an effort to make September 8 our only national day.

After all, this is the only one of the numerous national holidays we currently celebrate that all Maltese (well, almost) can indisputably relate to, enabling us to dispense with the present ridiculous commemoration of so many national days.

I say this even though my youngest child was designedly born on September 21 by induced labour.
