Enterprise awards launched

The Malta Enterprise Awards have been launched for the local industrial community.

These awards supersede the Malta External Trade Corporation's International Marketing Awards and the Award for Achievement in Industry and will become Malta's national awards for business.

The Malta Enterprise Awards provide the opportunity to recognise the achievement and reward the successes of enterprises whose efforts contribute directly towards Malta's prosperity.

The scope of these new awards has also been broadened and innovative categories have been introduced. Five individual awards can now be contested. These fall into two kinds: mainly the Business Award, which incorporates the industry category and the international marketing category and the Entrepreneurship Award, which incorporates the concept category, the start-up category and the small enterprise growth category.

The closing date for applications is October 3.

The Malta Enterprise Awards are supported by some of Malta's leading service organisations.
