Investors wishing to register their investments under the Investment Repatriation Scheme can do so at HSBC Stockbrokers (Malta) Ltd until November 15.

Maltese resident investors who, besides registering under the IRS also decide to repatriate their investments, can take advantage of beneficial conditions being offered by HSBC Fund Management (Malta) Ltd and HSBC Life Assurance.

HSBC Fund Management is offering a 50% reduction of the initial fee on the International Bond Fund and the waiving of the 3% initial fee in the five sub-funds forming part of the HSBC International Funds SICAV plc.

Another two opportunities for repatriated money are being offered by HSBC Life Assurance. These include a 3% increased allocation rate when investors opt for a Wealth Management Plan.

Alternatively, customers who prefer security and steady growth of their savings may choose a Lifestyle Single Premium Plan. Its main benefits include an improved allocation rate and a low, one-time initial policy fee.

These offers are valid for applications received at HSBC branches until November 15. Customers have to produce the investment registration certificate issued in the name of the customer making the investment.

Charles J. Farrugia, HSBC's senior treasury manager, said: "HSBC has taken these initiatives to present investors with attractive medium to long-term opportunities for funds and products that are already popular with HSBC's customers."
