English U-16 player Ryan Crampton is the winner of the 2003 Air Malta Tennis Europe Tournament after beating Malta's Matthew Asciak in straight sets yesterday in the boys singles final at the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club.

Asciak, two years younger, tried to make a fight out of it after an impressive run on his way to meeting Crampton in the final. However, experience was on the English player's side who powered home to a 6-1 6-0 win.
