Man held over daughter's rape

The police said they are questioning a man from Marsaxlokk who allegedly illegally detained and raped his 24-year-old daughter.

The police said they started investigating after the young woman escaped from the place where she was being kept for the last days and filed a report.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed a team of court experts to help in an inquiry.
