Sol Suncrest employee of the month

Sol Suncrest's general maintenance operator Noel Micallef has won the employee of the month award for July.

The award was given in recognition of his continuous dedication, diligence and positive attitude shown at work. Mr Micallef has been described as an exemplary employee who is totally committed to his work and to supporting his colleagues.

Speaking about this award, Sol Suncrest chief executive officer George Schembri said: "The company is committed to reward employees for their perseverance and loyalty at their place of work, since this ensures a high degree of job satisfaction.

"Furthermore, the company firmly believes that an employee with a positive attitude can be more productive and effective in his work."

Mr Micallef joined the Suncrest Hotel in 1990 as a hall porter. He was promoted to senior porter in 1992. Last November Noel was transferred to the Maintenance Department as a general maintenzance man. He has once again showed enormous resourcefulness and has proved to be a very successful within his new environment.
