FARRUGIA. On August 27, at St Vincent de Paul residence, JESSIE, aged 77, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her sons John and his wife Marthese, and Fr Joe Farrugia, OSA, ex-parish priest of St Augustine church, Valletta, her daughters Marylou Occhipinti and her husband Sebastiano, Rita Azzopardi and her husband Bernard, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence today at 9 a.m. for the Augustinian church of St Nicholas, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery.

Artists' Branch Formation

Representatives of cultural oganisations are being invited to attend a meeting this evening with a view to forming a committee for the Malta branch of the European Council of Artists. The meeting is being held at the Malta Playing Fields Association, Floriana, opposite Sir Paul Boffa Hospital at 6.30 p.m.

Dog Lost

The owner of a lost Yorkshire Terrier bitch is offering a reward for its return. The terrier, answering to the name of Cherie, was lost in the vicinity of Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema. Anyone seeing it is asked to call the owner on 2131 6628 or 9985 2838.

Examination Certificates

Certificates in respect of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Series 3 2003 examinations can be collected from the Examinations Department in Floriana or the Examinations Centre in Victoria.

Candidates are reminded that certificates can only be collected on presentation of their identity card and result slip. If the certificate is collected by the guardian, the ID card of both the guardian and the candidate should be presented.
