A number of articles on Malta were recently prominently featured in several leading magazines in Holland.

Joie De Vivre featured an 11-page article about Malta, accompanied by colourful photos. A teaser of the article was displayed on the cover of the magazine.

In the meantime, Travelution ran a feature complemented by an interview with MTA's Amsterdam office director, Carlo Micallef, while Your Travel ran a feature about Malta and Gozo as a 'diver's paradise'.

The in-flight magazine of Transavia airlines Wings featured an article entitled 'Malta - a new member of the EU', while the travel issue of BG Magazine ran a double-page spread highlighting the Maltese islands' culture and nightlife.

Popular gastronomy magazine AllerHande ran a six-page feature about Maltese cuisine while Reisburo ran a six-page full-colour feature about Malta.

The Dutch edition of Bride and Bridegroom magazine had a double-spread feature about Malta which highlighted the island's romantic qualities.

The journalists who wrote the features were hosted by the Malta Tourism Authority and Air Malta.
