In my attempts to encourage positiveness I am hereby featuring a letter which positively concludes another case:
Further to my correspondence of July 1, I am pleased to inform you that the hob in question has finally been repaired. Aplan's technician visited me twice since my last letter.
Although it turned out that the fault was due to one of the hob's switches and not the burner, as originally diagnosed, both parts have now been replaced. The positive result is that the appliance is now fully functional.
Furthermore, Aplan's general manager, Mr Lino Apap, was kind enough to write me a letter explaining the delay in obtaining the original part from abroad. He also gave me a voucher to the value of Lm10 off my next purchase from their establishment.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance in bringing this matter to a satisfactory conclusion, and to thank Mr Apap for his excellent customer service. I am happy to say that my confidence in this company has been restored and I will be happy to visit them again in the future. (Selina Neville)
