Gozo Summer University planned

The partnership between the Ministry for Gozo and the University Gozo Centre was bearing fruit - this year 26 students graduated with very good results after following courses at the University Gozo Centre, Minister for Gozo Giovanna Debono said.

Twenty-one obtained a BA degree and five the B.Com degree.

Ms Debono, who was speaking when she distributed certificates to 173 candidates who had followed courses at the University Gozo Centre between December 2002 and July 2003, said new degree courses including the BA, the B.Com and the MA were to be offered in October this year.

The Gozo Centre is also considering offering summer short courses for foreign students as part of what is to be called the Gozo Summer University.
