A Swieqi man of Turkish origin was yesterday charged with human trafficking.

Aslan Yilmaz, 42, pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting another person to enter or leave the island illegally. He was also charged with receiving another person's passport.

Police Inspectors Jeffrey Cilia and Neville Xuereb prosecuted.
