Hold-up in Qormi
A man was allegedly held up and robbed in Tal-Handaq, in the limits of Qormi yesterday evening, the police said.
The police said that according to preliminary investigations, it appeared the man was attacked in front of a warehouse by two armed and hooded men, who took an undisclosed sum of money.
No shots were fired but the man was slightly injured, although he did not need hospital treatment.
The robbers escaped across some fields.
The police were searching for them last night.
CID and district police are investigating.
