Perjury charge

A St Julian's man was yesterday charged with perjury on two occasions and giving false evidence against a man.

Marwan El Kurbo, 25, pleaded not guilty to accusing Martin Debono of a crime when he knew he was innocent, on September 19, 2001, fabricating evidence and relapsing.
