Surplus and Adventure Equipment Store continued to live up to its name with the recent opening of new premises in Main Street, Mosta.

"It all started over two decades ago when my father, Raymond Galea, decided to give the country that much needed novelty of making available various army surplus and a wide range of military and outdoor adventure accessories," Ryan Galea, managing director explained.

He pointed out that the shop, which also stocks a wide range of camping, outdoor, hunting, fishing and scuba-diving equipment, renews its stock on a monthly basis.

"We attribute our success largely to the reputation we achieved over the decades for high quality military products offered at the best prices uniquely at our shop," Mr Galea said.

Mr Galea senior made a business out of what was originally his hobby as he travelled abroad on countless occasions to chose the merchandise. Mr Galea is now succeeded by his two sons, Ryan, managing director and his youngest son Neil, who runs the shop.
