Fireworks at Lija

St Michael's Fireworks Factory of Lija is promising a spectacular fireworks display, including fireworks synchronised with music, this evening as part of the activities for the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, Is-Salvatur, which will be celebrated at Lija tomorrow.

A spokesman for the factory said the aerial fireworks show will be held between 9.45 and 11.30 p.m. and this will include a 20-minute display synchronised with music.

There will be five pieces of music, which are an excerpt from 2001 Space Odyssey, Radetzky March, Time to Say Goodbye, Concierto de Aranjuez and an excerpt from the Gladiator soundtrack.
