Seriously injured
Two passengers and a driver were hospitalised after a traffic accident in Triq is-Sebh, Qormi yesterday morning, the police said.
The accident happened at about 4 a.m. when a car driven by a 19-year-old from Luqa crashed into an electricity pole.
A girl from Zejtun who was in the car was seriously injured while another girl from Ghaxaq and the driver suffered minor injuries. A Zurrieq youth, who was also in the car, escaped unhurt.
The Qormi police are investigating.
