PBS chief executive Andrew Psaila told the Labour Party in a letter that its protest over the treatment of statements issued by the MLP recently was not justified.

Mr Psaila said PBS news division had broadcast M'Louise Coleiro's statement while on the other hand it did not broadcast Carmelo Abela's statement because it did not have anything new.

In fact a similar press release had been broadcast a few days before, Mr Psaila said.
