Josef Camilleri, HSBC's external communications and community relations manager, presented the sponsorship money for the Print Journalism Category in this year's Malta Journalism Awards, organised by the Malta Press Club, to club chairman Malcolm J. Naudi.
The Print Journalism Award is the most competitive of all eight awards. Since the awards were launched in 1990, the Print Journalism Category has repeatedly attracted the highest number of entries.
The category is considered by many as the flagship of this journalism awards competition.
This Print Journalism Category in this year's Malta Journalism Awards is open to all journalists who produced articles in the print media during 2002.
Those wishing to participate must complete the relevant application, available from the website www.maltapressclub.org.mt and submit it to the Malta Press Club c/o BPC, J. Gasan Street, Pietà, by noon on August 8.
