The General Workers Union yesterday registered an industrial dispute with Care Malta, the firm that runs Casa Arkati in Mosta.

The union said the dispute was registered after the management ignored its request to withdraw a written warning the company had issued to one of the care assistants.

The union said it has another pending issue with Care Malta because the company has so far not given official recognition to the GWU as the union representing the highest number of care assistants at Casa Arkati.
