A concelebrated Mass was recently held at St George's Basilica in Victoria to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the ordination of three members of its collegiate chapter.

The celebrants were the archpriest, Mgr Dr Joseph Farrugia, who also lectures in theology at the University of Malta and the Gozo Seminary, Canon Felix Tabone, the parish vicar and honorary Canon John Bosco Cremona, who is also rector of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Xlendi.

A welcome address was delivered by the president of the parish council, Antoine Vassallo. During Mass, which was led by Mgr Farrugia, the Gospel was read by Canon Tabone and Canon Cremona delivered a homily. The Laudate Pueri Choir, which was founded by Mgr Farrugia, while he was training for his priesthood, also participated in the event.
