On a positive note
I would like to thank Sandro and Renato Zammit La Rosa of Kings Shoe Store, agents of Ecco shoes.
Last August I purchased three pairs of Ecco shoes from their ex-outlet in Balzan. This week I noticed that one of the daily used pairs' sole started to shear and instantly took the shoes to their outlet in Valletta to see if the damage can be repaired.
Imagine my surprise when later on that same afternoon I received a phone call from Mr Sandro Zammit La Rosa who told me that, although ten months had elapsed and the shoes showed signs of daily use, he was prepared to take the shoes back and that I could choose a new pair - free of charge! How is that for after sales service?
The shoes are "the world's best for pleasure walking". Their local agents are, like father like sons, the best people to deal with where any type of footwear is concerned. (Jerome Licari)
What can I add to comments from such a totally satisfied customer? Well, I must add my compliments to Sandro and Renato Zammit La Rosa. This is the kind of satisfied customers we like hearing from for our positive notes.
I will yet again appeal to you to catch them doing something good. As I write this column I only have one letter in our "positive note" file which will be featured next Sunday. On the other hand, as far as complaints are concerned, all the files are bulging.
