An Air Malta aircraft chartered by Mondial on Monday made the airline's maiden voyage to London Manston Airport.

A small airport located southeast of London, London Manston Airport is around 80 minutes' drive from central London and 20 minutes from the Port of Dover.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737, took 119 Maltese holidaymakers who are booked on a 12-day cruise on board the Norwegian Cruise Line's m/s Norwegian Dream departing from Dover. The cruise includes stops at Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn and Hamburg.
