Angry motorists switch off their car's engines and just wait at the Msida side of the Regional Road as fireworks are let off on the occasion of the feast of St Joseph in Msida on Sunday. The police decision to close the Sta Venera bypass and Regional Road to allow petards to be let off caused frustration to motorists who had to wait in long queues in alternative roads to the main traffic artery that was closed. The police decision to close the artery was also criticised by the Public Transport Authority.
