An elderly man walked into Gozo general hospital yesterday afternoon with facial wounds after having an argument with another elderly man, the police said.

The men, 71 and 69 respectively, are both from Xewkija.

The injured man was ferried to St Luke's Hospital and was released when his wounds were found to be superficial.

Gozo police are investigating.
