Some of Malta's top travel agents have been hosted to a three-day familiarisation visit to Libya as guests of the newly opened superior five-star Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel, in Tripoli. The hotel organised a programme of events that enabled the agents to experience the services and facilities that the hotel has to offer and also discover the places of interest dotted around the country.

Places visited included the Roman ruins of Leptis Magna, the National Museum and Medina, with its many authentic bazaars.

The trip also included dinner in a historic villa of the Garamali Dominion, which Corinthia Bab Africa uses regularly for special outside catering events.

The five-star 300-room Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel symbolises the arrival of a new standard of excellence in the Libyan capital.
