Tony Drago, playing in the World Pool Championship, reached the last 16 stage of the prestigious tournament in Cardiff after ousting United States player Danny Harriman 9-4 last night.

Drago joins fellow snooker professional Steve Davis in the pre-quarter-final stage. Davis yesterday dashed the hopes of Indian Mukesh Rehani 9-3.

Today, Drago plays against Young Hwa Jeong, of South Korea.
