I drive regularly through Valley Road, Birkirkara going to Valletta and I cannot help wondering why there is always a traffic jam near the Labour Party club.

I noticed that in order to evade the traffic lights, motorists going to Rue D'Argens use the road where the roundabout is and then cross the line of traffic heading towards Valletta.

Why do the police do nothing about it?

Why not put up a "no turn left" sign and paint a continuous white line on the road extending to near the police station?

Why cannot we be consistent with traffic rules and avoid some traffic accidents?
