HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. has announced the first monthly winners in its Automated Services Users lottery.

The first group of four winners, who will be enjoying a weekend break at L-Imgarr Hotel in Gozo are: Mr and Mrs S. Mallia of Lija, Ms R. Abela of Sliema, Mr and Mrs M. Debono of Cospicua and Mrs Doris Gauci of St Paul's Bay.

HSBC will draw four winners every month, until the end of September, from among all HSBC customers who use any of the bank's automated services. These include ATMs, deposit machines, EPOS machines, direct credits and debits, telephone banking or standing orders.

All customers who use these HSBC services will be entered automatically in to the lottery.

At the end of September all HSBC customers who participated will take part in a final lottery where an ultra all-inclusive dream holiday for two to a Sandals or Beaches Resort in Jamaica, in collaboration with P&A Sullivan Ltd, will be won.

HSBC's automated services are designed to make banking faster and easier. "Many people in Malta are still unfamiliar with the convenience offered by HSBC's automated services. Through this incentive, HSBC is encouraging customers to make more use of these services, thus avoiding queues and freeing up their time for other activities," said Ray Briffa, head of Personal Banking at HSBC Bank Malta.
