AX Holdings appoint group purchasing manager

AX Holdings have recently appointed Mario Fenech as its group purchasing manager. In his new role, Mr Fenech will be responsible for all the purchasing needs of the various companies forming part of AX Holdings.

The appointment of Mr Fenech forms part of a restructuring process within the Group's purchasing department, aimed at streamlining all purchasing procedures.

As group purchasing manager, Mr Fenech will be based at the Sol Suncrest Hotel, with the sole responsibility of sourcing the best possible options for all the group's purchasing needs. Under Mr Fenech's direction, the purchasing department will now be responsible to conduct all purchasing on behalf of the AX Holdings Head Office, the Sol Suncrest Hotel, the Victoria Hotel and the Sunny Coast Resort Club.

Speaking about Mr Fenech's appointment, Suncrest Hotels plc's chief executive officer George Schembri said that "this new appointment will help to harmonise the group's purchasing procedures, as well as offer a more efficient service to all suppliers. This move will also help to ensure that the AX Group will capitalise on the economies of scale thereby ensuring better service from suppliers."
