I think that John Guillaumier must have a chip on his shoulder, to write the way he did in "Priests' ordination" (July 8).

The Times is certainly no Lehen is-Sewwa and the comparison drawn by the gentleman was certainly uncalled for.

I personally believe The Times has enough religious content as it is, during the week but producing a write-up on a priestly ordination is certainly news for Malta and it does not render The Times an obsolete newspaper. Quite the contrary.

I also disagree with the way Mr Guillaumier claims that P.P. Portelli "carps and complains". I am afraid it says nothing for Mr Guillaumier's sense of balance, respect for opinion and good manners.
