A total of 553 persons benefited from reduced fines on value added tax to the value of Lm144,703 between January and April this year, Finance Minister John Dalli said yesterday. Replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Evarist Bartolo he said the highest fine reduced was of Lm44,970.
