Cinema lovers flocked to film theatres yesterday to feast their eyes on the latest blockbusters at give-away prices - and get away from the stifling heat.

Patrons could watch all films at Lm1.25 during National Cinema Day organised yesterday by KRS Film Distributors in all cinemas.

Popular films like The Matrix Reloaded, X-Men 2 and Bringing Down the House were being shown as early as breakfast time, while children went in droves to watch The Jungle Book 2.
