Art at Red Tower

St Agatha's Tower, popularily known as the Red Tower in Mellieha, is to house the 2003 Collective Art Exhibition from Friday to July 18.

The exhibition will be put up by Art Club 2002 and Din l-Art Helwa, the heritage NGO which manages the 17th century tower.

Art Club 2000 is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers and established in March 2000 to promote and teach various forms of art and craft through courses.

Paintings by the Soldier Artists, many of whom are members of Din l-Art Helwa, will be on display together with various other paintings and sculptures by members and friends of the club.

The exhibition will opened on Friday at 7.30 p.m. with a wine and pizza get-together. Tickets are Lm1.50 each. Opening hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
