Special offers for National Cinema Day

Eden Century Cinemas and the Embassy cinema complex will be celebrating National Cinema Day with various activities for cinema-goers throughout the day on Saturday.

The Embassy cinemas in Valletta are organising entertainment including face-painters, stilt-walkers, the distribution of sweets to children in Republic Street and inside the complex and a live radio broadcast from inside the Embassy shopping complex.

Viewers can also be lucky to find prizes hidden under their seat on the day.

Embassy Foodcourt is also giving special offers.

Cinema-goers to Eden Century Cinemas at the Galleria in Fgura, the Eden Century Cinemas in St Julian's, and the IMAX Vodafone Theatre pay only Lm1.25 for any film they watch. That price also applies at the Eden Ice Arena and the Eden SuperBowl.

There will also be animation such as movie characters from the film "Spiderman and Scooby Doo", as well as magicians, stilt walkers, face painters, games and music.

Films will be running from 9 a.m. on Saturday to the early hours of Sunday morning.

Eden Century Cinemas are also giving special offers and free vouchers throughout the day.
