Olivia Dow School of Russian Ballet will be presenting the spectacular concert "Journey to the Stars" in the Sir Temi Zammit Theatre, University of Malta, Tal-Qroqq, on August 2 at 7.30 p.m. to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the school.

"Journey to the Stars" will be directed and choreographed by Ms Dow, who has staged six original Maltese ballets, various shows and one of Tchaikovsky's best known ballet "The Sleeping Beauty" last year.

She started her School of Classical Ballet in Excelsior Street, Gharghur.

In 1994, Ms Dow founded the Petit Ballet Russe de Malte, also known as the Ballet Russe de Malte - School of Russian Ballet - when she staged her first performance at the New Roadhouse in Buskett with only 15 pupils.

The school is presently situated in Leli Falzon Street, Naxxar, from where tickets for "Journey to the Stars" may be obtained. For reservations phone 2158 3368 or 9947 4127.
