GWU registers dispute at airport
A conciliation meeting will be held this morning after the General Workers' Union registered a dispute with Malta International Airport. The union said MIA wanted to transfer a number of employees who were working on shift to normal working hours.
MIA had this week informed both the Union Haddiema Maghqudin and the GWU about its intentions to change the shift system and the GWU registered a dispute and requested the conciliation meeting to avoid industrial action.
