A Pietà man has been jailed for six days for failing to pay his wife maintenance after he had been ordered to by a court.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna ordered the detention of Publius Said, 45, after ruling that he was "clearly" guilty of failing to pay his wife Josephine, maintenance in April.
