The Magnificat Malta Chapter, a ministry to Catholic women, is organising a pilgrimage to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary in Gozo.
This is an event not to be missed also because it is being held in the special time when a pilgrimage to a Marian shrine is blessed by a plenary indulgence. For this reason the organisers of this pilgrimage are urging both men and women not to miss this wonderful opportunity to honour Our Lady.
The pilgrimage is being held on Friday, July 11. Mass at 7 p.m. by Fr Martin Cilia, MSSP, will be followed by a talk by the guest speaker, Sr Linda Koonts, CV, renowned in the Charismatic Renewal circles.
Following the talk there will be refreshments, and a dinner box will be distributed to all present. The price is Lm5 per person (transport not included). However, transport will be made available with a pick-up point at Dingli Circus, Sliema. This coach will leave for Cirkewwa at 4 p.m. On arrival at Mgarr, Gozo, transport will again be provided to take pilgrims to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary.
Transport back to Mgarr in time for the boat which leaves for Cirkewwa at 11 p.m. will be available. To book phone Vicky Camilleri on 2138-9835, Liliana Staines on 2131-3853 or Miriam England on 2133-0171.
