I wish to highlight a recent development taking place all over the country - the introduction and installation of new Maltacom internet compatible cardphones, instead of the present cardphones.
One will notice that in order to make a phone call in the newly installed phone machinery in the public phone booths, it will take you ages. You will not succeed, anyway! The new equipment is designed for computer whizzes who need to tap on to the internet. No instructions are available for other people who wish to make a simple phone call using this machinery! You will never manage to make a call, whether by card or otherwise.
And come to think of it, how long will it be before this very expensive equipment is vandalised? The monitor equipment installed is very sophisticated, latest technology. It could easily be removed, given the right people who can exploit such situations. Come on, can we make a simple, straightforward call without any strings attached, please?
Maltacom should at least introduce some form of "Instructions for use" to accompany this new sophisticated equipment.
