Ordination ceremony

The Bishop of Gozo, Mgr Nikol Cauchi, will ordain a priest and a deacon at the Cathedral in Gozo tomorrow in a ceremony starting at 7 p.m.

Deacon Charles Sultana from the Marija Bambina parish will be ordained priest and seminarist Geoffrey Attard from San Gorg will be made a deacon.

On July 11, deacon Tonio Galea will be ordained in his native San Gorg parish church by the Archbishop of New York, Cardinal Edward Michael Egan, in a ceremony which starts at 7.30 p.m.

There will be special prayers at the Gozo seminary at 9 p.m. today for the deacons and seminarist.
