Industrial action threat

The Enemalta Professional Officers Union has warned that it would be ordering industrial action at Enemalta over the negotiations of a collective agreement.

The EPOU is objecting to the fact that Enemalta was negotiating with the General Workers' Union on matters which affected its members' conditions.

The EPOU has written to the Social Policy Ministry requesting a conciliation meeting.

The collective agreement expired 18 months ago.
