Beatrix, the ladies' fashion label by local designers Charles and Ron, will receive international recognition in October with its participation in the Moda in Galleria fashion show in Naples.
Moda in Galleria is a prestigious international fashion event, organised in aid of Amnesty International, where fashion designers from around the world present their autumn/winter collections.
The show, which is being held in the Galleria Principe of Naples, is being televised by Rai and Fashion TV.
The international spotlight is shining on the designer duo, who are also being featured in June's edition of the Italian magazine Superbe.
The Beatrix spring/summer 2003 collection was recently modelled at the Castille Wine Vaults in Valletta. The season's collection steers clear from black and is a celebration of colour, with printed silks purposely mismatched and finished off with multi-coloured ribbons, and sinuous silk-jersey gowns, inspired by the swinging Sixties.
The love of the young designers for glamour and feminine shapes is again evident in their latest designs.
