Burglary charge

A 36-year-old man was yesterday charged with burgling a guest house in Bahar ic-Caghaq.

Raymond Abela pleaded not guilty to stealing more than Lm1,000 worth of cash, jewellery and other items from Blandon Guest House to the detriment of Carmel Joseph Briffa on June 20.

He was also charged with forging bank documents, defrauding Briffa of over Lm500, handling stolen property and relapsing.
