Will I be able to buy a car from abroad and register it in Malta?

Yes. The new EU competition rules for cars make it easier for consumers to use an intermediary to buy a car from another EU country where prices are cheaper. Of course, when you import the car, you still have to pay car registration taxes in Malta.
